Hardwood Forestry Fund Members know that wood is a renewable resource, and that healthy, vibrant forests provide benefits to wildlife, the environment, and to people.

By design, the Hardwood Forestry Fund targets the majority of its budget directly into tree planting, forest management, education and demonstration projects. By keeping administrative expenses low, the Fund is able to make a bigger impact on the ground for future forest establishment.

The HFF’s Volunteer Board of Directors receives no compensation. The Board directs donor contributions to high quality sustainable forestry projects. Long term “on-the-ground” project management is provided by natural resource professionals on staff of partnering organizations.
